Okay, heres the deal:
i was as gonna buy this kit from board a member, scottfreeman80,
http://forums.2gnt.com/dcboard.php?az=show_topic&forum=16&topic_id=5508&mesg_id=5508&page=4

during process of negotiating the price, i thought i pissed him off because it takes him a couple of days to reply. In that time (thinking i wasn't gonna hear from him) i bid on this ebay kit, http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=2400977340&category=33742
and won. after i won it, i get a reply form scott saying he can work with me on price, THEN i find out the same day that the kit pictured in the auction is not the actual one that would be sent!!! this guy supposedly sells multiple kits using the same picture and description!!!
This does not make me feel real comfortable!!!!! I aint dumping 500.00 on a kit that im not even sure im getting whats pictured. Not to mention he said he sold a kit to the loosing bidder based on the same item descrition and pics.

So basicly i told the ebay guy that his add was misleading, was bad business and i wasn't cool with that, and backed out on the deal.
I look at it this way, if i bid on, lets say a car, based on pictures and description given, and find out, "oh yea, we sell many of the same cars, you'll get a blue on not a red one, but i assure you its the same quality!" Naw, i ain't down with that!!

anybody think im off base for backing out? i take my ebay stuff seriously...

So anyway, im waiting on scott to get back to me with a fianl go/no go for his kit (which he has now thrown in a walbro fuel pump as well)
so, i will keep ya posted...

if anybody knows him, tell him to get back to me ASAP, im not good with patience!

Tim

Tim,
The stuff that you're going to buy from Scott used to be mine. I originally bought the set up from 420aVenger (Matt Bush). The manifold is brand new along with the gaskets that come with it. The T25 turbo I bought from Matt was sold and I bought another T25 from a friend that said he put in new seals. I also sold Scott a polished 1G side mount IC. This will be the same set up that RxR Eclipse has. The manifold will need to be cut at the turbo flange and angled down 45 degrees. That is not expensive at all from a local shop. If you have anymore questions, PM me.
