it seems like i am either overloading the turbo or i have a serious problem with the turbo itself.... it will leave good..... and run hard til about 6500 then it pops, spits, sputters, and i lose about 4 lbs of boost while this is happening

is this WOT situation or just normal shifting fairly hard?

sounds like fuel cut or detonation maybe map is seeing boost...
You can have it cheap, fast or good. Pick any two.
If you want it cheap and fast, it's not going to be good. If you want it cheap and good, it's not going to be fast. If you want it good and fast, it's not going to be cheap.

Could be a multiple of things... Hitting fuel cut because the Map is seeing boost, or better yet maybe a fuel system issure, like a fuel pump or FPR not keeping up pressure to the injectors, ect.. What is the details of the setup on the car? That may help a bit. Oh and be sure he has the fuel pump (the inline or intank) hooked up using a relay off of the battery. You dont want to use the stock fuel pump wiring for high flow pumps.

Dude Mine did the same thing to me. Turned out to be really shitty plugs. But same symptoms. Get to about 6k+ and would really loose all power and sound like shit. Changed out the plugs and is all good now.
