Has anyone done this successfully? I just read an old post on the ASOG board that mentions that it will work, but there is no supporting info. If not, I'll probably go to the 8 injector setup sonner or later with stock primaries and 625cc secondaries - with the hope of being able to use most of the 860cc of fuel that it will give me.

the 625's are peak and hold. Our stock injector driver is for a high impedance saturated injector. You can probably drive them, but the lack of resistance my burn up your injector drivers.

Armond had Chris's car setup like that I think, for awhile... or atleast I remember reading a thread about it... so you might try searching for that, dont think it had a title that would be easily searchable though but its been awhile

I only used the 625's with the DFI. I had 370's with the AFC. I now have 525's with the emanage. The 625's are too large to trust to the AFC. That would be a sloppy way of handling large injectors.

Have you built your manifold yet? I'm not sure I want to spend any more money on control systems, but I could run a lot of boost with 760cc's. Guess I better go look at Corbin's page and see what's involved.

this is one of those "only one way to find out" situations, but you have to kno what you are doing. I think I could make it work sucessfully, but that's becuase I am used to fooling with stuff like that (stuff people say isn't supposed to work......but does) you would need a ressitor pack to run peak and hond njectors in your car btw.......just like a vr-4, 300z, eclipse, supra turbo, and varoius other cars with factory peak and hold injectors. A.D.P. "...If you do too much, people become dependant. If you do to little, people loose hope. If you do it right, people won't be sure you've done anything at all." bring it on...........

Nope not yet, I would love to get started if Ray (PureRage) would get me my new Manifold its only been like a month
I was also thinking heavily of the Gen 7 DFI. I also don’t want to spend anymore money on control systems seeing how I can boost 30psi if I tuned it a little better. But no matter what system is chosen I don't think any are fully utilized w/o dyno time, dyno time, dyno time.

Did you upgrade to the 20g? I don't think the 16g will give much more than hot air past 25psi. I found a local shop that has a Dyno, AND they work with the DFI. So, as soon as I get my upgrades done, I'm hitting the dyno and doing some real tuning. I think I'm going to stay with the 16g (for now), add cams and see how far I can push it. I'm hoping for 375 at the wheels on race gas at 25psi. We'll see.
