Well i fixed my last big problem with my turbo install today. I had a huge exhause leak from the manifold. I took it for a spin, and all i can say is WOW! I have a few questions though. I have a HRC stage 2 With FMIC, Vortech SFMU, and Missing link. I am only getting about 6psi of boost at WOT. My fuel pressure gauge maxed out at 6hg/cm2 (85psi), it may be more. A/F gauge shows almost full rich at WOT. My EGT gauge quit working after my third test drive, i will have to check that out tomorrow. Static fuel pressure is set to 50psi, idle pressure is about 40. Should'nt my boost be a little higher than 6 psi? Thanks

I have an HRC Stage II with a side mount intercooler and I see 7-8 psi. I would double check all clamp connections for the intercooler pipiping (make sure you tighten down very tight on the BOV as they do literally Blow Off) at the silicone sleeves and all hose connections (hoses from throttle body to fuel pressure regulator, to blow off valve, and to boost gauge).
Another thought for you. I replaced all the HRC cheap clamps with Ideal torque clamps - these clamps have lines in the clamp where the screw goes through and tightens down instead of the half moon raised bumps which don't clamp/torque as much).
I would also bump up your idle fuel pressure. HRC recommends 47 to 55 psi at idle (factory is 47-50). Your idle fuel pressure could affect your total psi under boost. I would also get a fuel pressure guage that goes over 85 psi to double check pressures (HRC supplies one that goes way over 100 psi - you should have one if you bought the kit). Also, make sure you are using the 3.72 disk for the Vortech.

I do think i need to adjust the fuel pressure. I did a run down a long deserted road tonight, and in 3rd gear WOT i started to hear a pinging so i let off. I need to fix my EGT gauge and find any boost leaks that i might have. Thanks for the input

Well, as you know I have the same kit as you. When I first installed my kit and took it out for a drive, I was only seeing 6-7psi.....so I think you are fine there. The front mount drops boost a bit more than the sidemount. Now for fuel, I would do as KTECLIPSE said and try raising your fuel pressure at idle to about 55psi or so. I would suggest being around 90-95psi of fuel under 6-7psi of boost, that way you are on the safe side. That pinging you heard for a quick sec. in third gear is VERY bad. You will not want to hear that many more times, or else you will crack a piston ring landing. Just raise your fuel pressure a bit and you will be fine, it should take that detonation away. Go give it a try and let us know how she goes......

I put the HRC gauge back on and adjusted my idle pressure to 55 psi, and took it for a spin. At WOT i am now seeing about 100 psi. Now i need to figure out my EGT gauges issues. Thanks guys!
Edit: I had someone ride with me again, and i hit 110 psi.
