Is it worth it to wait for the lump sum and make donation to Bill or go to somewhere like extrememotorsports.com and use a cc?

I want the hahn kit, hands down but the no credit card thing is like a sharp kick in the arse everytime i think about it.

What are the down sides if I get it from a vendor rather then the manulfacturer (sp)?

that was really a turn off with the Hahn thing..I do not at all like the no credit card thing...it just urked me to have to go to the bank and get a cashier's check for 3000 to buy all that shit. He said they got screwed too much lately though.

Buy enough stuff and they will let you use a cc. I think they dont like to do cc orders for totals over 1000.00.

Try Howell, that's what I did, it took about a month to ship. it was 2200 for the entire kit with shipping included.

Yeah that whole " No CC for over $1000 " is just like that " No CC for under $10 purcahses "; to me crap. I ran a store and they told us the bottom line was the charges the CC machine company made, the certain % for ever transaction. So what was our solution, you included it in the price. It's retail, it business, and hidden charges are in everything we buy, period. Profit is not a dirty word. But I can imagine they have lost many sales over the fact. I mean these days, of Internet and Electronic money, this old capitalism still exist. Oh well, if you got the loot buy direct with check or cash. You can always call your CC company and they can issue you blank checks for purchases. Even HRC can't deny that...or can they?

well, the convenience of a CC is very nice... i personally would prefer using my card, versus as stated above, going to the bank and taking out 3.5g's...

oh well, such is life.

I used a CC when i bought my kit from Hahn.

the sales guy didnt want to do it, but then i talked to Lori Hahn (she was very nice!), she asked that i split the transaction fee with her, and then she faxed a paper to me that bascially said i was the holder of the card and i authorized this purchase. i signed it, faxed it back, and had my kit a couple weeks later.

I used my CC when I got my kit from HAHN, with no questions asked. That was almost 2 years ago though..so it may be different now.
BUT about this time last year I called and oredred their FMIC and that wa no problem with the CC either.
Actually, I ordered my Clutchmastrers stage 4 from them about 9-10 months ago with a credit card........No questions asked.
