Alright. I have some money saved and some coming my way. Hopefully by spring, boost will be in my hands. (or at my foot) I am auto tho. Do both HRC and star kits work with auto? I was gonna get a kit made, but I still don't have #'s or prices for that kit. Sooo, I am gonna go with what is tested, proven, available and works with auto. If both kits work for auto, which I don't see why they wouldn't- Tell me what downsides you guys had with turbo. Did the tranny go son after, CEL causing limp mode, etc. ANYTHING to help. I had no idea what to search for, so I posted. Sorry if it's a repeat, but I wanna make my car faster and get started on that soon while I have the money. Help me out. TIA! anything u can add to help is appreciated.

They will work fine, just make sure to have a tranny temperature gauge and auto tranny cooler. Keeping that in check, along with fuel pressure and EGT's and it should run great.

I have a stage 1 hahn kit and love it. My ? to other automatics is if I only get on the throttle up to a 100 mph, and only a few times a day,is a tranny cooler needed? I do not try top speed runs and stuff like that. For people with autos and kits on for a lond time, any problems without upgraded trannys?

for a auto i would go with hrc since it has a smaller turbo and you can have a little more power around town. i drove a star stage 2 auto and it was slow since it was auto. so i got a hrc kit, and it feels alot better. to be safe i would get a tranny gauge, and cooler and dont be doing anything to crazy with it.. cool

I would like to see 400 HP when I build and do all the supporting mods. Probably 400 crank hp. And not daily. I wanna have a reliable car that can push upper 200's to the wheels daily. 16G should be big enough for my needs. I am not gonna have money to build right off tho, so I need to know which kit has the best luck with auto reliability. I can build the tranny at any time b/c my dad owns an auto tranny shop, it's the engine I'm worried about. With turbo, will the engine knock like hell all the time until it finally goes? I'm just going thru pre-turbo stress I guess. Not knowing if I should or not. I am tired of being slow as fuck tho, and I like the sound and performance of turbo cars. I just wanna make sure it can hold up for a while at stage 1 and then 2 until I save enough for rebuilding.
