#36122, "How bad is your traction?"

I had let my car rest for a few weeks. I was out on vacation plus some minor issues. So the day was nice today and I got on it hard.
I can't rev past 2k RPM and shifting into 1st gear without losing traction. It comes in the form to me that the front wheel, drivers side, sound like if you where stomping on a hardwood floor real loud. So I shift quick to 2nd and after 3k RPM it does it again till I shift to third. I run 6-8psi, SPEC stage 3 clutch. After today I smelt burnt something and my brakes weren't holding as strong, dispite new front rotors and pads only 4 months old. Just wondering if the LSD is the only option I have now. What's have you guys experienced and done about it? TIA
BTW- I got new tires about a month ago.

sounds like burnt clutch u may have just cooked it a little bit try the car another day or tomarrow and be easy on the clutch for a while it may be a little cooked if u smelt a burning smell after the run...

You can have it cheap, fast or good. Pick any two.

If you want it cheap and fast, it's not going to be good.

If I even try to get on it in 1st, it will just spin to the limiter. So now I don't eve try to build boost in 1st. Top of second they will break loose (3500 rpm while rolling), and the same thing with 3rd. It is kind of fun to be rollin' next to some ricer at 50mph and the drop the hammer. The look on their face is priceless when they hear the wheelspin and bov. emoji

Thanx so far guys. Good to know I am not alone. Although not sure if that's good emoji
To answer this question I just got new stock size, 205/55/16, AVS ES100; hot new tire from Yokohama. Great thread and grip but from what I gather after the purchase, including SCC mag, is that it's not a racing tire, so not much good for 1st gear rips. Oh well now.. emoji

Yes, that was my favorite thing to do. Roll up next to some idiot that keeps trying to get me going(ricer) at about 40-50mph and just drop into second and nail it. Instantly my tires would break loose and I would bounce off the revlimiter within a second of flooring it....always seemed to scare them off for some reason emoji
