I bought a used star turbo kit but it didnt come with a downpipe. I dont want to go to a exhaust shop and have them make a custom one just yet because I want to be able to do it at home. I posted a wanted ad here in the sales forum and I did email star performance, and also searched the dsmtrader but no a luck. Does anyone know where I can get one? Will the hrc fit on the star setup?

Thanks you guys. I haven't tried calling wyatt. I'll probably do it later this week, I want to do that as one of my last resorts. I would rather not buy that pipe because then I'd have to have it permanently welded on to the turbo and cat-converter and there's no O2 housing. But still, does anyone know if the HRC would bolt directly to the kit?

uhm maybe Im understanding wrong ,but the Star dowbpipe is a bolt on affair just like the hrc one, if not easier. And no the hrc one wont bolt right on, they have different flanges.

Hey the downpipe in the auction that is ended looks dam close to the star. If thye seller still has it get it and order a flnge from turbonetics.com, and have ur muffler shop weld a flex piece and os sensor flange its that simple. An no the hrc will not work even though you get a 16g or 20g, cause the exhaust manifolf for star is for garrett t3.

I think I might do that. But how can I get a complete downpipe without taking it to the shop? Should I just get the flanges, mark how they are to be welded and then take it to the shope have then weld the flanges onto it and bring it back home to install? And should I get some spark plug foulers for the O2 housing? One last thing, does anyone know what the part numbers are for both flanges from turbonetics? Thanks.

Hey there is no way you can get the flange welded to the downpipe without taking it to a muffler shop for test fitting and stuff. And all you gotta do is ask for a downpipe flange for a t3/t4 turbo at turbonetics.
Hey by the way if you dont have the time and money to complete the kit il buy it from you email me.
