I finally get my car back tomorrow. After a 3 week down time...yippie.
My question is this, tonight I drove the car after the rebuild. I had the 30# ijectors placed in.
I get plenty of fuel at crusiing speed. just at idle it stutters and the dies. CEL indicate too rich of upstream O2.
What shoudl my idle and static be at with these 30# injectors? Some tips and directions on tuning please... Compression is a perfect 200 across. car definitely feels smoother with rebuilt head..

kaiser, IM me when you get online i would think you should run the same 8:1 disk or a 6:1 something like that. idle should be like 30 or 35 psi. check your fuel trims. your car will die at idle the first few times because the ecu has not had time to rebuild the new fuel curves. just drive it around a bit and it will be okay. lates james

Not sure if you have the SFMU, or the FMU, but on my SFMU and 30lb injects, i use the 2.72" disk with short, dark spring, and i idle around 25 psi. This gave good fuel trim numbers, and cars runs and boosts great. Anything over 25 psi, i got a too rich CEL also.
