to put on your already illegal turbo kit? j/p! As far as I know, there aren't any laws here in cali against after market BOV's. what do the rest of you so cal's think?

it is a touchy subject. I've heard of smog refs failing cars on the basis of after market BOV. As far as venting to the atmosphere....EZ got a good point. you kit is not legal...why bother emoji

yes the irony is hard to overlook. forget the illegal turbo kit NOW. okay lets say that a cop pulls for speeding. from all accounts i look like a legal car, stock gst muffler, turbo spoiler, no gs sticker. i pull away and he hears the bov (psssssssssstttt). will i get pulled over.

put another way, same theoretical type of question.

i pass a cop and he hears the bov...i'm not speeding, or anything illegal. will i get pulled over for the loud bov that has to be vented in the atmosphere because you can hear it.

no it will just attrach more attention so they look for somthing wrong

You can have it cheap, fast or good. Pick any two.

If you want it cheap and fast, it's not going to be good.
If you want it cheap and good, it's not going to be fast.

a cop has all the right to pull you over for any good reason. well really he does not have to have a reason, he can just be a dick. you can be ugle and he can pull you over..hehe .. or maybe he does not like how your car looks he can pull you over. get me ? a cop can pull you over anytime your on public road..last time i got pulled i got pulled by a cool cop, it was 10pm and i even had my fp gauge outside, and i got a exhaust. he just gave me a ticket for speeding ...well it was that or get my car impoundeddd.. so i took the ticket...
if the cop thinks your engine is mod he can ask you too open the hood.
