Hey guys,

I got a stage 1 and I wanted to know exactly why the cartech (or whatever you call thing Hahn gives you w/ the stage 1) is supposedly shit. WHat does it do and how does the SFMU fix/improve it.

Also, is the S-FMU needed if I am getting an AFC or do they have nothing to do with each other?

Third, where can i get the S-FMU and the missing link.

PS- what does the missing link do?

MODS:

HRC 16g turbo kit, Spearco custom FMIC, Custom IC piping, VT rebuilt engine: Custom 8.8:1 compression CP pistons, Eagle connecting rods, Melling oil pump, Clevite bearings, 370cc injectors, Vortech S-FMU, Apexi N-1 catback exhaust, AFX UDP, Autometer boost gauge, fuel pressure gauge, EGT gauge, Corbin's digital A/F gauge, Tokico Blue shocks, Tein springs (1.5" drop), 18" Konig Verdicts rims, VIS stock-style Carbon fiber hood

u could find all this by searching but since ive got time ill explain it

s fmu is made by vortech can be bought at summit racing,

it is a fully adjustable fuel management unit that is far beyond the rising rate regulator hahn gives u stock that cannot be adjusted much or any at all..

an afc control the pulsewidth or amount of time the injectors are on with the fuel pressure and pulsewidth adjusted u have a car in tune, a mising link keep the car from seeeing boost or the MAP sensor from seeing boost its to keep the map from sending wacky voltages to the ecu and cutting fuel and changing timing...

the missing link can be found here

You can have it cheap, fast or good. Pick any two.

If you want it cheap and fast, it's not going to be good.
If you want it cheap and good, it's not going to be fast.
If you want it good and fast, it's not going to be cheap.
