Hey guys listen to this...
I finished my custom turbo kit (which I wouldn't reccomend) and was ready to fire it up. Well there was a Sh!t load of smoke pooring out of the exhaust and Im loosing oil like nothing else! I see that I am dripping oil from the turbo. I got a used turbo that was rebuilt. It was beautiful and less that 1 mm of shaftplay.
One more thing, when my friend was helping me with the install he switched the oil feed with the oil return, and the oil feed line kept blowing off the turbo. Are my seals blown? I took it to my friends shop, needless to say he can't really help. But if we can narrow the problem down to the turbo he can help.
What do you all suggest, I am in a bind and have been out a car for a week. I really appreciate the help guys!

are you feeding oil directly into the turbo without any restriction? Does your oil drain hose diameter exceed the supply line diameter? is your return hose kinked in any way? is the hole you drilled in the oilpan for the turbo drain line above the oil level in the pan?
check all these,
you should find the problem.

If I had blown seals, Would I be getting any oil throught the turbo at all? DarkOne told me to check the same things, he told me that if I turned the car on and was getting oil to my oil drain than my seals were prob. not blown. But my question is, if my seals were blown would I be getting any oil to my return line?
Thanks for all of you help guys!
