Can I port/polish the manifold that comes with the turbo? will it have better performance after? Also what can I port/polish?

You can port/polish:

cylinder head
intake manifold (make sure to buy a larger or overbored throttle body)
exhaust side of the turbo

I am not sure if you can port te HRC manfold though. I think it's jut welded together not a cast piece like the stock one or Star manifolds. Someone else please shed light on this.

the hrc manifold IS cast steel. the real early kits came w/ a tubular design, but that was upgraded early on

you can gasket match it and thin the inner walls of the flanged out area to make it flow a little better...i did mine and its fine...youll see what im talking about when its off the car..
