Does anyone know how much is too much boost for our stock ignition? I'm not talking about spark advance or anything I'm talking about the actual strength of the spark. Does the stock ignition have enough power to ignite like 22psi? If not would the MSD coil pack be enough? I don't plan on having to retard timing so I don't really want to have to buy a whole ignition system if I don't have to. Any thought/opinions?

Personally, i'd put the cap on stock ignition at 20psi. Maybe even a little less, 18 or 19. Just my opinion, though.

I'm thinking more like around 10-12 psi. I've seen a dyno sheet on a boosted Eclipse running 9 psi, and it's pretty visible that the stock igition was not really enough. The power and torque curves weren't as smooth as it should. My dyno runs showed smoother lines, eventhough I boosted ~19 psi, with an aftermarket ignition.

What about the MSD coil pack. Will that give the ignition enough power?
