Can someone tell me what would be a good size injector to use. I have a stage 2 kit with a safc,255 lph intank pump, the fpr that came with the kit, a front mount i/c and stock internals (for now). running 10-11 psi boost. and if someone has some for sale at a good price I might be interested or maybe trade I have some 500cc/min accel's that are larger than I need

I don't have anything to trade, but I have some advice. I recommend you trun the boost down to 8 PSI. It' just not smart to be at 10-11 with stock internals for everyday use. Only a matter of time before your engine goes BOOOM!!

PS- I'm in no way trying to be an asshole or anything, but I wanted to give you soem advice in case you were unaware. emoji

MODS:

HRC 16g turbo kit, Spearco custom FMIC, Custom IC piping, VT rebuilt engine: Custom 8.8:1 compression CP pistons, Eagle connecting rods, Melling oil pump, Clevite bearings, 370cc injectors, Vortech S-FMU, Apexi N-1 catback exhaust, AFX UDP, Autometer boost gauge, fuel pressure gauge, EGT gauge, Corbin's digital A/F gauge, Tokico Blue shocks, Tein springs (1.5" drop), 18" Konig Verdicts rims, VIS stock-style Carbon fiber hood

Yeah, too many guys have blown there motor at 10 psi. I also noticed the you have the Walbro Intank pump.....I hope you are still running the inline and that the Walbro is the High Pressure Pump. You will definitely run lean with just the intank and stock injectors. I recommend you turn the boost down also.

As for injectors, Hahn Racecraft sells 310cc/min injectors for $142.88. I just called them last week to ask what they recommended for a Stage III kit and see their pricing. I believe that the biggest size our ECU can handle is 325cc/min injectors.

Hope this helps,
Kurt

If you want to trade with me, i have the 30lb injectors, i'm using them for 13psi right now, and they work wonders! Not too big, not too small, and i AM looking to upgrade.

Hionpsi what kind of run hours do you have on those inj, and did you buy them new. I have no more than 4 hours run time on mine. Bought them new from hahn's for $310.00 w/shipping. I am selling them staight out for $225.00 . I can get new 310cc/min for about $145.00 . So if yours are like new we might be able to trade but I will need $100.00 for the differance. If that works for you cool if not cool to. Let me know thanx!

Get the 30 lb injectors (315cc), and run a lower idle fuel pressure, and use the Vortech SFMU to tune the whole fuel system with the larger injectors. Thats all you need really. I blew my piston at 10 psi because of detonation, from running a bit too lean. I still earnestly believe we can hold 10 psi on a stock engine with a good, rich fuel mixture, to help deter detonation. Its pushing the limits, but 10 psi still isnt out of the question. Just be SURE to tune it rich!! Dont let egt's pass 1525-1550 degrees at 10 psi. You will be sorry if you do. Either dont use the SAFC in your setup, or lean out very little with it, as it has proven to advance ignition timing too much under boost, which can promote detonation also. I run 8 psi, 30 lb injects, and the SFMU, and no SAFC, and it works excellent.
