can somebody please post the link on how to properly take the functionality out of the stock fpr. ive been searching around for an hour and cant find the damn link. tia, the fuel system should be done later today if i dont run into more questions.

well haha i found the directions on my own eventually yesterday. and heres where my setup gets a little more confusing than the senarios you guys are talking about. i have a 96 car so i have the stock fpr in the back of the car, and i have a 95 fuel rail to replace the 96 stock rail. (using the return line on the rail to go back to the tank and using the shrader valve for the fuel pressure gauge) so TWO fpr to get rid of so i did corbins mod to the 95 rail fpr using my friends grinder instead of a hack saw to take off the tip thing. but i think that when i was grinding it, the heat shrunk the rubber gasket that seals the fpr to the 95 rail. so when i put the fpr back in, it was totally loose instead of snug like when i tried taking it out. i figured my only option was to wrap a shitload of teflon tape aroudn it, shove it in, put the retaining ring back in and hope for the best. as far as the back of my car, the original fuel filter on my 98k mile car was like permanently attatched. even while backing up the filter with a cresent wrench, when i tried loosening the bolts, the whole contraption just kept getting more and more bent, and fuel lines began pinching. so i had to remove the whole contraption and replace it all with my own lines and inline tiny chrome filter. today i will finish up rigging the lines in the back by the tank, and zip tie the return line in a bunch of places and then the fuel system should be DONE. lets hope for a leak free test drive. GOOD TIMES! note: what do you think my idle fuel pressure will be with the 315cc injectors in place of my stocks?

UPDATE: yesterday i finally finished it all and the car runs fine, but the 95 fuel rail leaked at the end where the stock fpr sits. I guess all that teflon tape was worthless under fuel pressure. so now today i have to take the screwed up 95 rail off and put the 96 rail back on and only use the one stem in the middle of the rail for both the return line and the gauge. i have to go pick up a T for the fuel pressure gauge now since it will no longer have its own source. that screwed up 95 rail is all yours if you want it, but i would HIGHLY suggest not wasting your time. as far as that "tiny" fuel filter goes, yeah it will be fine under the pressure, i guess tiny was the wrong word, its 3/4 the size of the stock one so ill replace it more often.
