I currently have a 97 eclipse with a star stage 2 at 5psi. I am using the stock exhaust right now. I am looking to go with a 2.5 inch cat-back but dont want the loud noise. I d lot of hiway driving and it would get really annoying. Any opinions on a some what quiet exhaust? Also i was considering changing my injectors. Is this necessary? If so what size would be suitable? Oh yeah still having the problem with the sticky missing link. Could it be from the EGR? What is te easiest way to block it off with out the check engine light going on?

i have a star stage 1 with the pacesetter cat back exhaust. its not pretty but its sounds really good, low and deep, not loud at all. it doesnt have the prettiest muffler but for $160, its not a bad deal. not sure about the other stuff though. maybe you can call synapse engineering (for missing link) and tell them you have a defective unit and maybe they will send you a new one. its worth a try.
