on the '96, it's in the back of the car, near the fuel filter. Only the 95's have the regulator intgrated into the rail

well since your going to want to play with it I would put it in the engine bay and run the return line. You can mount it on the drivers hand side of the fire wall. Right where your relays are for fuel and sparks. just mount it there and lay the relays down below the FPR.
