ok please dont flame me for asking this. i have been searching but it seems that everone is running different boost levels with different mods. i recently spoke with wyatt also and he said if get new injectors and a s-afc that he wouldnt be afraid to run 12-13psi on the stock bottom end. i also read that the stock bottom end holds up pretty sufficiently up to 300 hp.Now i would run no where near 13psi on my stock bottom end because i cant afford a rebuild right now. my next mods i planned on getting 415cc injectors and a s-afc. i planned on running 10-11psi with my stock bottom end. do u think this would be a wise choice or should i save for the rebuild then run higher boost then the 8psi i am running now. i hit fuel cut off sometimes when its cold out now so i wanted to get injectors and the s-afc then run at least 9 psi. i just want to know what the max boost would be to run on stock internals for a daily driver. the kit i am running is the star stage 2. anyones advice is very heplful and appreciated. thank you

well before anyone goes off on you hit the search again. I have seen this discussed over and over agian. you might want to check out the things weve seen before section too. Ok now for what I know, or have been told most likely. Our rods are good to about 13psi, after that they start to bend. now this is without a significant ammount of knock. If you can control the knock and pprovide the fuel , then yeah you can boost higher , but i wouldnt. I am also using the star kit stage 2 , but with 5psi.. why dunno it came like that, but I can see why you want to boost higher. Now with stock injectors your boost is pushing the limits of the fuel setup that comes with the kit. Like Wyatt told you some injectors and some sort of fuel control will be needed for higher boost and a safety margin.

Please do yourself a favor. If you're going to raise the boost past kit specs. for any reason with any mods, go get yourself another car or another engine first.
