i ordered hrc stage 1 two weeks ago (the wait is killing me!!!!!!!!!)

anyway, i have a 98 auto gs-so how can i tell if they send the right fuel system, like the 94-95 fuel system versus 96-99. will it say 96-99. i'm just a little worried cause the guy was kinda rude. oh yeah, i am replacing, immediately the missinglink and carpteck, so will it matter if they send me the wrong fuel system.

New Car:
2004 350z base, Nismo CAI, pioneer avic-n1 (dvd, cd, navi)

Old Car:
1998 GS with hrc stage 2, HID 6000k conversion kit, AEM UEGO wideband, sfmu, ml, prokits, Greddy warning gauges: egt, boost gauge, and oil pressure, apexi tt, haydans tranny cooler, costum dp, groundwires, dynotune fp gauge. gst muff, turbo spoiler
Boostin since Aug 03.

nothing like driving with the windows down and the music low: i love hearing the turbo spool, swwwhhhttt!!!!

If the guy was a dick why did you order it from Howell? You should have told him to fuck off and you would tell everyone you talk to about cars how they suck. With every 1 customer you piss off, you lose 100. You could have always called HRC, they are as nice as can be.

Yeah I emailed HRC with a question and the guy was really cool. He even gave me a number to call him at to discuss it in detail...but I lost it.

okay, he was NOT really a huge dick; he was a little too matter of fact kinda way. he didn't seem, interested, you know.

i called two days to make sure he got the info right and he did say everything correctly (name, address, eclipse, 98 ect...). just a little worried/ and paranoid i guess cause i've heard of bad stories.

also, i wanted to see if the stuff i heard is true cause i plan to order my bottom end kit soon. also the charge was only $2100, and i save about $200 if i ordered from hrc. that's 200 from a supra smic...

but on to my question...how can you tell if they send the wrong year.

I ordered from howell about 2 months ago and finally I called him this week and he told me that I should be getting my kit in sometime early december. I did a mail order and in my mail order I had a message what type car , fuel system. If I get the wrong fuel system what should I do call Howell or HRC?

Dayyyyyyummmm!!! 2 MONTHS!!!! I ordered from HRC directly and I got it in 2.5 weeks. I'd rather pay the $200 for an extremely helpful staff HRC provides and less than half the wait.

That's another reason why ordering from HRC is better. If you order it from anywhere else, although HRC will talk to you and help you fix any problems. They can't be sure you actually ordered the kit because it goes to Howell, then to you. You will have to use a middle man for anything like that. Just to get another part or gasket (if your paying for it) you can call HRC directly. If you have some kind of mishap with shipping and something is broke, missing a part or they sent the wrong part you have to use Howell as the middle man. I ordered mine from NOPI and they sent the wrong intercooler so I had to call NOPI and have them call HRC for me. It was crap. Would have been 10x easier to just call HRC.

Honestly, those are the worse kinds of salesmen. They make it seem like they know all and your a complete idiot. There are way too many companies that sell this kit, HRC directly included, that will treat you will the upmost respect. I had a run in with Apexi a while back and I will never do business with them again. Greddy customer service with Apexi's products would be one awesome company.

We called Gary earlier this week and he said the reason its taking so long is that HRC was closed for 1 1/2 week they were at some car show. But he did say it should be in early december 5-10 hopefully.
Ok so let me get this right if I have something wrong with my kit I have to call howell and then howell calls HRC?

if you have a 96+ car and they didnt include a hard line to return to the tank from the rail, then they sent you the wrong fuel system. Also, if they don't send you a fuel cut defencer, you got the wrong one.
