I was looking at the sport compact car Dec 2000 issue. The civic SI at 6psi boost is only running 15.2 @ 90.6 mph. The GS-R is running 15.0 @ 93.9 mph. They both have HKS kits on them and are not intercooled. The turbo focus is running a 15.2 @ 90.5 mph. Our cars have ran 14.6 at 5psi. I was just wondering why this is happening. Shouldnt the gs-r be somewhere in the 14's atleast? I am glad that our cars work well with turbos. Those hondas are slow even when boosted. And for the focus....Well lets just say they are REALLY slow!!!!And kinda ugly too. Would it be possible for a RS to hit a mid 15 on the 1/4 mile? I'm going to the track and I hope I get a 15 at the least. My car has had some performance modds: Cold air, Pulley, Exhaust, etc...

The reason.....2.0L motor vs. 1.6 and 1.8 liter motors. 5 psi of boost on our cars takes a little more air flow than a smaller engine, and has mroe potential to make power. The SI, and GS-R are nice factory tuned top end soprt compacts, but that is all NA stuff.....most of that goes out of the door when you apply boost.

he he he... That's funny, a 15.2 on 6psi:-) man, I would not spend that much money to get a 15.2 in the 1/4 mile!!
