You'll need to have an exhaust manifold made up to mount the turbo. Then there's the other stuff: FPR, fuel pump, hoses and clamps, fuel lines. It will take you over $1000.

T25 is shit.
2G intercooler I have heard is harder to fit on our cars than a 1G. They are $30-75 anyway.
2G BOV is shit.
Manifold would be replaced.
Can't use much or any piping.
Can't use downpipe.
Still need fmu, fuep pump, fcd, downpipe, manifold, way more than $1000.

I *think* I could do a turbo kit for under $1000 but it would not be pretty emoji

My kit right now is at about $1000 which includes: star fmic and all stage 2 piping, hrc fcd, 3000gt bov (being replaced), 14B turbo, custom (alain) manifold, vortech super fmu, egt gauge, electric fuel pressure gauge, most oil lines and taps. I need about $400 more in parts I'm hoping and than come spring or at least nice weather I will attempt to make it work. At the end I'm hoping around $1300-1400 for a stage 2. I have gotten great deals and been trying this for months so don't expect to pay less than me emoji

I'd recommend saving a little more then get an HRC stage 1. It will at least be a complete kit with a bigger turbo.

You can have it cheap, fast or good. Pick any two.

If you want it cheap and fast, it's not going to be good.
If you want it cheap and good, it's not going to be fast.
