I know which one is safer, but just an example using numbers. Say stoich is 0, -5 is lean, and +5 is rich. Which one would affect your EGT's the most???

The leaner you are, the higher your EGT's - the richer you are, the lower your EGT's. I am tuned rich to be safe. My SFMU hits 95psi of fuel pressure at 5psi, and my S-AFC is also tuned a tad rich. Under full boost conditions, it's tough for me to reach over 1300 degrees. (Keep in mind I have no intercooler...which will help immensly)

I was under the assumption that running too rich will make you have high EGT's. The reason I'm asking is that my fuel pressure are well around 100 psi for stage 1 boost levels, I have a 1G SMIC on by the way. My EGT's are still too high, which lead me and a friend to believe that it's the HRC FCD crapping out. We have yet to test the voltage for the thing, but according to the datalogger, I'm maxing out my injectors at like 25% <---- can't remember the parameter for that.

to lean = high egt
to rich= high egt also
once your egt is stable goes down a bit etc. then you should be at the correct combus etc. its not so easy..hehe yah check the hrc mapper just solder two wires run it inside to a multimeter and go run it. then remove it..hehe
