here is the scoop i was running the black box but it made my check engine light coome on. So i put in the missing link it works good for about a day and then i have to take it off and oil it to get it to work correctly. Im still getting fuel cut once and a while. What else is out there to fix this problem? Its really annoying and I hate seeing my check engine light on! Also the studdering is really starting to make me mad.
thanks
Paul

You need to probably find out the true reason for your CEL and fuel cut issues. You may be getting a lack of fuel during boost that could cause the same symptoms.

Do you have an SAFC? You can check your MAP sensor voltage under boost that way (chk sensor screen) or through hooking a multimeter up to your MAP sensor.

If you ML is working correctly, you MAP sensor shouldn't be seeing boost. I can't imagine an ECU more sensitive that mine about that sort of thing, and my ML has worked flawlessly for months now.

You may want to check your fuel pressures under boost. Do the fuel cuts occur at the onset of boost or under full boost? If at full boost, then its probably not your ML. If it's at the onset, you may have a problem with your ML.

In any case, get your MAP sensor voltage under boost before jumping to any conclusion.

I get the same thing once in a while. What happens to mine is that the check valve gets "stuck" open and lets a little boost through. I have to take it off and blow through it to unstick it. That's the only problem I have w/ the ML. Maybe that's what is happening to you.

That is exactly what is happening once i take it off and clean it it runs fine. It only happens when i ease into boost. If i punch it it is fine and there are no problems. Is there a fix for the sticking check valve??
thanks

I have been running 8 psi for a while now with no ML or FCD. I have had no problems with fuel cut at all. As soon as I can get these damn injectors in I will run 13 psi. I hope I still will not have any problems. I also think you should check your map sensor that was messing me up for a little while untill I replaced it.
