This question goes out to anybody that has put on the Hahn or Star turbo kit, Stage 1 or 2, on the 2gnt. I'm seriously considering boosting now that i'm working alot and will have the money for it. In your opinion, what is the most difficult aspect about putting the kit on. I know that the kits come with some crappy parts, and i know which ones they are and what you should replace them with. Also, running a Stage 1, am i'm going to run into any major tuning problems, or will it be basic. My engine has 68,000 miles and is healthy. I read about detonation problems, and adjusting timing, idle richness, and all that, i don't have a clue as to what it is. So any info would help alot. THanks.

The hardest part of the putting the turbo kit on was taking off the front bumper!!!! No joke that was a the hardest part of the whole project. IF you have a basic knowledge of what is going on under your hood... And you have the tools nessasary, you'll be okay. Just remember, you have us here to answer questions. I think when you get the kit you choose, and you begin taking things off, you will realize it isn't that hard of a project once you just put some time asside to do it. However the aftermath of the install is what you have to watch out for. Just make sure that car is getting plenty of fuel to begin with, and recognize what good and bad egt's are. Other then that i think you will be okay.
