#34170, "Oil on #3 and #4 plugs"

Did a compression check the other day when i put new plugs in.

compression is at 200psi on all 4 cylinders.

Plugs #3 and #4 have oil on them tho, the electrode side, not the top half so its not just VC gaskets

Car doesnt burn oil, at least not noticeably enough to have to top off b/t oil changes. no smoke.

#3 and #4 have had oil for long time, long before i made those dyno runs, so i know its still making the power it should be...

Oil isnt coming in from the intake side, no noticeable oil in the TB or IC piping, and the pcv and VC breather are going to a catch can instead of the intake plenum.

#1 and #2 are dry, #3 is worse than #4...

ideas?

motor has 40-45K miles, stock engine, boosted for a year, and running 10lbs w/ S16g for the last month or so but the oil thing has been ocurring for months, as long as i can remember....i *think* they were still wet when i was NA, but i cant remember for sure

naw, starts up fine all the time...and i only drive it on the weekends usually, so even after sitting for 4-5days, starts up fine

i was thinking valve guides on the intake side...but the car doesnt smoke...is it possible if theyre just starting to wear out that they would only leak during start-up? i know its not just cold starts, cause the engine is always warm when i do compression checks (like this last time i went on a 20 mile drive before i came back to do the check)
