i got everything on corbins site for the fuel pump rewire. but on the relay it has 4 terminal things 86,87,85,30. i got where to hook up the 8-12gauge wire, and just to make sure the ground wire on the stock pump goes to 85 on the relay. right?... ok, now for 30 and 86, i know there is two ground on the top nuts ( one for relay, and other for aux fuel pump right?). and those two ends connect to the aux pump under the car right?.. just need to find out what to put on 86 and 30.. jamesman did my fuel setup since i did not know sh*t back then.. so just trying to remember what to do... oh yah, just wondering can i solder ( well ) 10 gauge wire for the power, or should i just use a butt connector?. thanks

basically you can use stock pump wiring to activate the relay. Pins 85 and 86 are reversable, so its not very important on those which does which. You need to have a negative ground signal on either 85 or 86, and then the black/blue positive wire at the stock pump needs to tap onto pin 85 or 86, which ever is left over. The rest goes like this..
85- ground 86-black blue wire at stock pump 87- + 12 volt feed fused at the battery 30-+12 volt output to the new high flow fuel pump.
I believe for grounds, i used a good chassis ground point, not the stock fuel pump ground wire. A good clean ground is very important..

and I solder my butt connectors, even though its supposed to be a solid crimped connection, I still fill the metal sleeve with solder after I crimp it, dont rely on just the crimped connection, plus you want the least voltage drop possible and crimped connections add resistance to the circuit if a total/solid connection is not established

Here's a second for the crimp + solder connection. That gives you the best of both worlds. You get strength from the crimp connection and low voltage drop/corrosion resistance from the solder. I always hook up important, high power connections like this.

so i just tap the stock pump wire of power and connect that to 86, then tap the stock pump ground and run that to 85? or do i run a wire from 85 to a ground?. and 30 is going to the hrc aux pump, and 87 goes to the battery? cool

Yeah you can do it like that. That should work just fine. Just dont use the stock pump ground wire as the inline pump's ground wire. Use a good chassis ground.
