I have neither a fuel cut defencer nor a missing link. Using the S-AFC I read map voltage at 4.995 volts at full throttle under 5psi of boost and I have never gotten fuel cut.
The problem: When hovering at 0 psi in 3rd and 4th gear only, I will experience fuel cut now and then. However, if I'm hardly on the throttle I dont see how I could reach over 4.5 volts to incur the fuel cut in the first place.
This isn't a major problem at all, it is easily avoided by staying away from 0psi in 3rd and 4th gear, by either flooring it or staying a tad below. But any ideas?

If you're at "0 psi", the MAP sensor will send the referencing readong of 4.7 volts or above. Throttle position has absolutely nothing to do with manifold pressure.
You probably are indeed experiencing the typical fuel cut encountered by a n/a car reading boost. Apparently, with your car, the conditions need to be a little more defined in terms of manifold pressure for the fuel cut to happen. Sometimes, the ecu doesn't always work consistently, nor do we have all the answers to how it responds in a given situation.

I'm with Jason. I don't think it's fuel cut at all. I believe it's the ecu "reacting" to "seeing" boost. Basically, it's the "hickup" or hesitation that occurs during the transition from normal intake manifold pressure to boost. You might want to look into the missing link or any voltage clamp device.
