Is Star or HRC ever going to have a CA legal turbo kit for sale?...I'd really like to buy a stage 2 kit from HRC, but I don't want to have to dismantel it every time I have to smog my car...

I passed, paid the guys a little extra not to pop the hood, well he did but just didn't comment on anything he saw.
He hooked the sniffer up and ran the test, It passed all required fields with flying colors.
Found this place in corona, just saw a smog only sign in front of the building, and a dirty looking mexican guy eating a burrito out front so i asked him if he would do it and said sure.

I just don't see how a gst or gsx has a turbo and is smog legal (CARB...I know), but if we put a turbo on, we are illegal...it just sucks...sometimes I wish I still had my ol' '69 El Camino emoji
I feel that as long as you can pass the damn emmissions, it shouldn't matter what's on the car or under the hood!!!

Us Cali. guys should get something going on the next ballot to change emmissions to get rid of the 'look under the hood' part!!!

Yes I remember talking with Razin, I just havn't seen him in a while. Guys you don't need to drive to corona to get your car smoged. You just have to find a willing tech to do it. Just swallow some pride and act like a bitch... I had to, but it is worth it to get your car registered.
However that all doesn't matter now!!!!! A neighbor that doesn't like me called the cops on me a couple of days ago cause i had my air compressor going at like 8 in the morning one saturday. Well i got a little visit from the Police man (even though my Fiance that lives with me is a COP) he gave me a little certificate to go to a Gross Polluter Test only Refaree..... So i am like "Shit not this again!!!" Well things changed at this station from when i used to take my super charged Blazer there every other year (it was carb exempt, so all they could do is look in envy). This guy wouldn't do anything but pop my hood and laugh at me. He isn't allowed to tell me why i didn't pass, or what to fix, he just gave me a 30 day extension and said "Get it fixed!! You know of a shop, or do you want me to refur you to one??? But let me tell you, it is gonna cost you ALOT of money!!" I told him to get bent, and have been taking my shit off this week, so i can take it back to him STOCK this weekend, and have him pass it... Then right before i drive off with my shit signed, I'll yell to him that the Turbo is definatly going back on. Guys who are jerks like that are lucky that there is a penalty for shooting people now-a-days.
Oh well that is my little issue i have been having this week. Not to mention my lady telling me how much of an idot i am. Shit so i loose a couple of days of fun, because i have to put my car back to stock and then back to turbo...... Things could be worse..... I could be poor and have no car to work on! I think she is just pissed cause she wanted to take me out for my Birthday this weekend, but i want to get this issue resolved, and not let any more time expire.
Guess i'll stop talking now......

-Danny.
