Warm up time is as follows
In morning with frost : 7-8 min
Just driving around town (no real boosting) : 30 sec
Just got off work and car sat for 8 hrs: 3-4 min

Cool Down time
Just crusin around town stop and go : 15-30 sec idle
Hard boosting and then a stop : 3-5 min idle

You know it is all relational. Just use your best judgement. You will know when she is hot.

As far as warm up time for me, I always wait until at least the temp. needle goes close to 1\4. If I stop for a short time then start her again, I wait at least 30 seconds before going. The reason I ask is that I've heard that if you idle too long, like idling until it gets to normal temps, it's actually bad for the motor.

For cool down time, I always wait 3 minutes regardless of how much I boost her and pamper her.

I let it warm up to atleast half way before I drive it and to full operating temp before driving hard. For cool down I turbo time it for 30 seconds. Before I had it water cooled I let it cool for 3 minutes.

dayam. well anyway I wait about a 1 minute or 2, maybe more when it's cold to start driving. Or if I'm in a hurry I'll drive it but drive it under 2kRPM to help it warm up. Doens't hurt to drive low rpm when it cold I hope hehe. When I turn it off I usually go by how hard i drive it. My turbo timer has an auto counter so I usually check the auto setting and set it to either 30 seconds, 1 minute, or 3 mins. Hehe so 30 is didn't run so hard, 1 minute is kinda gunning it, and 3 mins is like really crazy ass driving. Haha on the freeway I've had the timer go all the way up to 4 or 5 mins =P

Depends on the outside temps. I usually wait until the car gets 1/4 warm, then baby it until it reaches operating temps.

Cooling:
If I drive normal, then I wait 30 sec. If I really beat on it, then I wait at least 2min with the fans going at least a min after the car is off. (dual 950cfm fans wired into the park lights emoji )

I warm it up long enough to finish a cigarette if it's sat for 8 hours or longer. if i don't, it just doesn't drive right (usually close to full operational temp).

I usually let it cool down if i've been driving it hard (which is to say, driving at all emoji) for at least two to three minutes.

What sucks about being turbo'd is that if you're running late to go somewhere, your ass gotts sit there and wait, unless you get a TT.

On that same note. You are running late so you haul ass to get there but then you have to let it cool down because you ran it so hard. So you didn't really gain any time.

so you guys don't got TT? hehe if I wanna warm my car up b4 I leave the house, when I get something to eat I'll just set the turbo timer to 3, take the keys out (lock the door), and go back in the house to finish off my meal.
