Ok..my car is pretty much stock except for intake and bov and a little other things like gauges and turbo timer..etc..etc but i was wondering..if i got a upper intercooler pipe from say roadraceengineering..would that give me more hp? if so, about how much? Also, i have the stock plastic upper intercooler piping and i bought a TurboXS Type-h rfl blow off valve and the 95-99 Eclipse adapter kit and i was wondering if i can just transfer the bov to the new upper IC piping that RRE sells..only if it improves airflow and hp..thanks!

I don't think you'll get too many answers from this forum. We are primarily non-turbo 420A engines with turbo conversion kits...so most of us have little experience with the 4G63 (GS-T, GSX, TSI). That being said, I believe the point of the aftermarket UICP is to lower pressure losses when compared to the squashed plastic stock one. Lowering pressure losses is always good for intake pipes. With lower pressure losses, your engine/turbo won't have to work as hard to maintain the same boost level (found power).
