Many people use the Autometer Pyrometer. This unit comes with both the gauge and the probe. The probe is the sensor for your exhaust gas temp that gets mounted in your exhaust manifold. If you buy autometer's egt that is not the pyrometer, it will not come with the probe. You have to buy a probe seperate for about 70 bux (what I wound up doing). I have heard though that you can use the Westach probe with that autometer gauge and it works just as well for only 15 bux, but I haven't seen it with my own eyes yet...

You'll need:

Votech S-FMU to replace your CartechFMU
Missing Link to replace your FCD

I heard that an etg cost around 200.00 is that true? I should be getting my turbo kit in anyday now, I'm still tring to find accessories for my engine so it won't blow at heavy boost. I thinking about buying some JE Pistions and some good rods don't know what kind though. Can't find Vortech S-FMU all I found is just a universal FMU. I got my plugs , msd 8.5 mm plug wires and a apexi auto timer.
I keep hearing that the Hahn smic pipes are screwed up. So I guess I'm going to have to order different pipes. Is there any thing I'm missing to make my kit perform at its best? Also how much is it to upgrade to stage 3? By the way I'll have the hahn stage 2 kit.

Spend the extra 30 and buy a GReddy 52mm EGT. It's in celcius, but thats alright, the limit is the limit. It goes a lot higher than the autometer and is way higher quality.

I got the apexi EGT, it comes with the probe.. it is fairly expensive, but I don't have to keep an eye on it cus I just set the warning levels on it and if it ever reaches that themperature a red light starts to blink at me.. most of my other gauges are also like that. So now I can keep my eyes on the road a little more emoji
