I just bought a missing link and I want to install it. I have a 99 eclipse with a hahn stage II. What do I take off of my car if anything. Please help I am new to this world of turboing and need guidence. Thanks fellas.

you must unscrew the map sensor from the intake manifold, and push it into the top of the missing link. then just reinstall in same place unsing the bigger screws provided.

So I can take the fcu black box right out and I dont need to make anyother motifications. I currently have the black box that came with the hahn kit and the missing link installed will that hurt anything.

No problem. The missing link replaces the FCD unit. It will maintain that desired MAP voltage, which the FCD was supposed to do. And, supposedly, the FCD is not very consistent, and that's why people are using the ML.

Get rid of the black box. What that black box does is clamp the MAP voltage so that it doesnt exceed 4.5 volts at WOT so you don't get fuel cut. The problem is that the black box alters the MAP voltage when it shouldn't, which can cause leaning issues and improper timing under boost. The reason why the voltage is clamped is because when the car goes into boost, the sensor sees boost and ups the voltage accordingly. When this happens, you get fuel cut. The missing link is basically a check valve that does not allow the MAP sensor to see boost in the 1st place. This way the MAP voltages stay the exact same that they would if the car never had boost. I hope this helps explain why we use it.
