#32911, "water injection info"

I searched and found some info posted here before about water injection. There seemed to be a little talk, but not very much solid info. Check out this thread from DSMtalk and also check out the links that are posted. Go to them and read about it. There are several parts lists. It probably wont be very beneficial at lower boost and i'm not planning on using it to get more boost out of my stock internals. but, I do feel that a built 420A running 15psi or more on the street could greatly benefit from it. Think about it, lower temps in the combustion chamber and the compressed air will also be cooled even more than just by the intercooler. Alot of people use this and swear by it. It couldn't hurt anything if setup properly. Most set it up w/ a pressure switch so it will only spray at 10psi, for example, so you are not constantly injecting water into the intake track.

check out vfaqs they've had a water injection faq for a long time already. They use a WOT activated switch. Maybe the WOT switch in conjuction with the vacuum sensing one would be nice emoji
