Why are these damn things so hard to find? Advanced/Discount auto sells NGK but when I give them the part number which is 6097 they say they dont stock them ever. I guess I am going tto have to order them from RRE in cali. I hate having to order things from so far away but I guess its the only place that has them.

If you dont buy them from ourformer. I got mine at advanced auto parts but the part number in their computer was different. It was like 1248 or something like that. The guy said they didnt carry em till i made him check part numbers on some list they have and he found them. then they had to have them shipped from tennessee.

Yeah thats a problem the guy at my advance said the same thing but I didn't call him on it. You can also get them from summit racing. But from what I understand advance does carry them but they do not stock them they will have to order them.

NAPA sells them for 1.99 a plug. If they have to order them for ya, it will be a 2.50 shipping charge on top of that.....that is probly your easiest route Dave.

We need a faq for all this stuff.

NGK BKR7E-11 plug or NGK Stock# 1283

Some places only use the stock number and do not have a clue how to cross reference.

Napa
Advance Autoparts
Summitracing

These are the best sources for the plug. Summit carries them in stock for $2 each. Napa are about the same price. Advance is the cheapest of the bunch. I pay $1.39 each plus 10% discount(military).

Napa and Advance usually take a few days to get the plugs in. Just order a dozen, so you do not have to mess with it that often.
