#32822, "Best Way to Remove a Banjo Bolt from the fuel filter"
I've been working on installing an HRC Stage II turbo. It seems that the banjo bolt on the fuel filter will not budge. I am using one wrench on the hex on the fuel filter, another on the actual banjo bolt. I have soaked it with penetrating oil overnight so hopefully it will be removed tonight. I will also be using a breaker bar on one of the wrenches to try and get some more leverage on the bolt. Anyone else have any hints to remove it? Anyone else experience this fun problem? Ha!

man, that part really sucks, LOL. when i changed mine i drove the car up on ramps instead of jacking it up, which was good because i had to climb on top of the engine to get enough reach and leverage to relese the banjo bolt. i only weigh about 110 though, so i dont think i put too much stress on the motor mounts. might not want to try that if your a little bigger
if you have a breaker bar it wont be a problem. the best thing would be to have a friend help you out and hold one wrentch while you hold the other.
