I am trying to adapt the Vortech SFMU to the Hahn Turbo kit. I know that the "IN" line to the regulator is 1/4" hose and the "OUT" (return) line is 5/16". The fittings on the vortech sfmu are -6 JIC fittings. I have found a company online that makes the following parts:
1/4" hose barb to 3/8" female JIC swivel 5/16" hose barb to 3/8" female JIC swivel
I believe JIC is measured in 16ths. Correct me if I am wrong but a -6 JIC fitting is 6/16ths or 3/8" right? The other question I have is the JIC fittings on the vortech has a flare end. Will a female JIC connector allow/mate properly to this flare? I am assuming all JIC both female and male have a flare end.
Let me know if I am correct as I would like to order these fittings.

Don't really know the term "JIC". I'm more familiar with "AN" fittings. Summit and Jegs sell these fittings made by Earl's or Aeroquip. I personally used -06 AN to NPT adapters on my old S-FMU. Then I put a NPT to barb adapter on that. The S-FMU is set up to use O-rings to seal the fittings. You just pull the old O-rings off of the included fittings and re-use them (or buy new). That way you don't have to worry about the flare angle matching up (there are at least 2 possible flare angles).
