I have a shop that is interested in doing an sheet metel intake for our motor, but I need a doner. The way it is going to be is, we are going to use the bottom portion of factory one, and redesign the upper plenium out of sheet metel and mount the throtle body to it. Thus cutting the travel of air flow in half. Let me know if there are any takers. SEE YA!!!!!!!!MWC

I might be interested, but I just want to know why you really don't need the bottom half... I mean after all if you are going to all the trouble of making an intake manifold....

It is simple, cause the design of the bottom half of our manifold is not where we are going wron. It is the the unessasary top half that makes no sense, specialy being turbo. What we plan on doing is useing the bottom half, and welding a sheet metel box right on top of it. This will allow use to us possibly bigger throttle bodies as well as ones from other applications, as the end of the Intake manifold can be fitted with any kind of flange. The est cost of this is $200. That beats the $500 that STR and VENOM want for basicly the same thing. It will not be pollised, but then again since it is baried between the fire wall and motor, that is not an issue with me. However for the people who do care I am sure pollising could be available for more $$$$. SEE YA!!!!!!!!!!MWC P.S I will buy the Manifold off you and do the prototype myself, and will post results.
