Since my HG is leaking and my engine will be apart, I think perhaps this would be a good time for a rebuild.
I need some considerations of where to buy what pistons and rods for the best price? What am I looking for? What else would I need to complement this pistons and rods? Piston rings? What kind?
Right now I'm thinking of using std bore pistons, but I don't know what CR should I use. 8.8 seems pretty low, and since I'm an auto, it'll make me sluggy ... Would stock MOPAR rings work with turbo boost, or would they distintegrate?

I would plan on 9.6:1 or 9.1:1 at least. That's just my preference. The knock induced timing that would come from future boost would then be controled with the Apex-i ITC, MSD DIS-2 or crane equivalent. Boost is is more efficient than compression but 10pounds+ on our stock compression is unbelievable in power. That's why I wouldn't go too low.

I want to run lotsa boost, but then I also want to be different and show the true potential of the 420a so I don't want so low of a CR. With 9.6 CR, what's the highest boost one can run safely?
