Well 60ft time is pretty bad meaning you need to practice launching. You should be atleast in the 2.3 area. 2.2 is very good on street tires. I have no clue about 1/8 mile times and mph. I can check my old timeslipsd later on and see what i ran in the 1/8.

on my ever so crappy 15.4 1/4 run, i got a 10.091 1/8 mile time @ 72.69 MPH. 60ft was a 2.491. Dude, you most likely would have run very high 15's in the 1/4..possible even a little higer/slower.. practice makes perfect..not to mention being properly tuned and running strong. Oh yeah, i ran between 6-8 psi on that run...was like my second run ever at a track, hehe.. I had mad mech probs too though..and baaddd wheel hop in first gear..

reaction time has nothing to do with 1/4 or 1/8 time.

here is my best run so far..

RT 1.007
60 2.490
330 6.766
1/8 10.283
MPH 70.17
1000 13.307
1/4 15.841
MPH 90.42

judging by that..you need to work on something....i'm all motor and not that modded and still get 10.2 in the 1/8th...looking through my oher slips....a 10.5 in the 1/8th comes out to be about a 16.2...

you should EASILY be in the nines, even if you cant launch, considering you are running ar least 3psi or so. do you have a boost gauge? Air/Fuel gauge? EGT gauge? id suspect there is something wrong with your car performance wise. maybe a bad boost leak or really low compression. definitely should be able to pull much faster times. and reaction time doesnt affect your 1/4 or 1/8 time, you could sit on the line for an hour if you wanted to after the light goes green and still run a 12-second quarter if your car is capable.

You had your friend in the car with you when you ran? emoji That is one of your problems. Why did he ride with you? That is just dumb. Next I bet you are going to say you left your sub box in. (I don't know if you have one, I am using it as an example)

I didnt even know you were allowed to run with a passenger emoji
The tracks i've been to sure dont let you...wierd.. Get your 60ft times down, and tune up the car really good for the boost you are running. The 18" wheels sure dont help, as did the passenger. Too much wheel spin is bad also...

yeah its cool man. i have a nearly stock rs and i can pull 15.9 in the 1/4 and 10.2 in the 1/8th. and being that ive only gone to the track twice now, i still have alot to learn and i need to improve my 60ft by launching better....ie not spinning the tires but getting all the power to the ground perfectly. but yeah, trust me its normal, i go and woop the hell out of turbo mr2's, turbo eclipse's, etc etc all day. they get pretty damn moody when i try to give them pointers to help and tell them their cars should be in the good 14's. get rid of the damn 18's, get rid of the passengers, and the spare, and the jack, and the subs if you have them, and your books and your cd's, and the cooler with drinks you brought to the track. feel me? i hate it when i see nice cars with potential full of their lazy owners garbage. turns the car into just another lazy overweight american. hahaha the car should be naked on race day. kinda reminds me of the days in speedo's for swim team championships. now strip your car clean before race day or ill be posting up pictures of dudes in paper thin speedos.
