I don't understand how some of you guys on here that are using the safc say that "if you do it right you wont get a check engine light"
I have been told that by several different people, yet no one can explain to me how to "do it right" so that it doesn't trigger a CEL.
Because I am PRETTY sure that mine is "done right" aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaand CHECK ENGINE LIGHT. Code 14

Anyone??????????????????????????

What setting do you have for the IN/OUT sensor type?

If its on 7/7 try 6/6....

Also those 2 grounds have to be installed like in the manual with the brown I think 1 inch closer to the ECU than the other.

I only got a check engine light cause I closed the hood on the wiring and slit into all the wires causing it to short out on my hood
taped up back up and im good to go

Except I tried doing the blue wire mod and I dont think the readings are accurate at all, I can almost never get it to read over like .84 vdc. I think the Safc has too much resistance on that circuit and wont read the o2 sensor correctly

When I run on 6in/6out
I run way to rich and car stumbles and almost dies.
CEL comes on
How are you guys running with that setting?
Is it with stock injectors?
But @ WOT my car feels like it has a little bit more torque pull on that setting.
I stick with 7in/7out. Better idle and no cel.

You have a 96. You're going to get a CEL no matter what you do. Live with it.. sorry.
