OK here is the deal..... I have a 97 Eclipse 420A and in my garage I have another DSM a 96 Talon 420A I got for 100 bucks because it had an electrical fire in the engine bay... so all the electronics are screwed but the engine and tranny are fine in fact. So my question is if you had this deal what kinda set up would you go with for the less$$$ At least this way i wouldn't have any downtime so please give me all your input on the best route I should go for the less$$ weather it be the 2.2L and then I send them the talon block so i save some cash! or just get the bottom end kit and build the talon engine? I don't know what the hell i want to do or what is the best!!!!!!! So help me out here ThanX

Build bottom end with a howell kit. Then.............TURBO!!!!

What are you going to do with the stock long block once youve built the other motor? Interested in buying.

so u don't think i should get the 2.2L from howell? and instead get the bottem end kit and rebuild my spare 420A? I think i might keep the stock block but not sure yet... why how much would you offer for it?

is the talon a 5 speed? if so ill take everything that has to do with the transmission. EVERYTHING !!! center console, boot, cylinders, etc... wait...where do you live? oh and minus th ecu..
