You have a gst, of course you can! I have a freind over here that runs 18psi all day long.
Get an egt gauge though, you won't regret it.

Buy yourself a cheap manual boost controller and turn it up to 16psi-NO MORE. Anything more than that will just slow you down...thats the T-25's limit. Get yourself a nice exhaust and you will be all set.....for now anyway emoji

It would be safe to run 16psi let alone 14psi.....stock exhaust or not. Get that boost controller and unleash those extra ponies!! You don't know what you are missing. My friend with a 97 GS-T has his boost controller shit the bed on him a month ago.....what a big difference between 12psi and 16psi.... emoji

Id get exhaust asap. I dont think you will notice THAT much of a difference between 12 and 16psi on such a small turbo compared w/ adding a 3" exhaust. Im tempted to get a GSt,X,TSI. Blah I need to make up my mind.
