Everytime I start my car and it's below 1/2 tank I get a wierd sound near the fule pump, filter, FMU area. I start it up (even on ACC) and it makes a pulsating, stuttering noise like there is air in my system. It goes away after a few seconds. It sounds like akinked garden hose - like air trying to escape. Does anybody have any clue what it could be? When I have a full tank it never does it tho
ALvin Thanks

well I see you both have the star kits (thats a good hint that it has something to due with that kit)so im guessing maybe the fuel pump that comes with the kit is maybe installed incorrectly, maybe its in crooked or something and not reaching the bottom of the tank(remember I have no turbo and stock fuel pump and have never looked at it at all) sorry im just trying to help

mine never did it for the 1st 6 mos or so i had the kit on.
my noise isnt from the fuel tank area so much as it sounds like its coming from along the pass side rail underneath. but besides a vacuum line nothing has changed.
the feul pump is bolt on item, cant really screw that up, i dunno, i screwed around for about 2 months trying to figure it out.
mine does it while driving, but its not noisy enough to hear over the vibrations and humm of the road and engine. you really have to listen for it when everything is off. i dunno, its just so damned annoying.
