#32325, "Turbo to Centrifugal Supercharger"

Just wondering..
I have a Triple K K03 turbo..
Do you think I can convert it from a turbo, to a centrifugal supercharger?

If so, how hard would it be?

I can estimate some of the things need to convert, like the pulley, new shaft, seal, probably bearing.. etc..
But can I get a list of what would be needed?

Thanks

I think your big problem will be safely stepping up the RPM by a factor of 10+. You would have to build some sort of gearbox and hook it to the turbo and crankshaft pulley. Some of those gears will be under considerable load as the engine accelerates, not to mention spinning at 60-80,000 RPM! Thats alot to accomplish without the help of a major machine shop. Probably cheaper to buy a used centrif supercharger and build your own bracketry (assuming you bought a SC that was sized right for your engine).
