#32176, "got a ? about parts in a NER kit"

Just wondering what The fitings and brackets needed for install are? Ex: on the NER website they say "all fitings and brackets needed for install", so I want to know what those are. Also if you know if I can buy them at an auto store like Kragen. Then what type of piping is used for the "turbo to throttle body piping". Last does anyone know where I can buy some "racing electronics" for a turbo. If you have a NER kit you should be able to tell me what the fitings and brackets are.
Thanx for any help.

I was right there with him untill the light turned green.

By those questions it looks like you are trying to build a turbo system by buying all the seperate parts yourself right? If so then you don't need all the exact fittings that NER uses.

yeah i'm trying to build my own kit but I would like to know what I need for the kit and the NER page doesn't go into deepth about what is included in the kit. so I was just trying to find out what i needed for the piping and fitings and brackets.

I was right there with him untill the light turned green.

Actually Soldier I did get my complete kit, but that's because I bugged the hell out of Shaun and I got my kit before the fire too.
As far as the fitting go, there's basically the following:

- 2 hose fittings for the fuel line that goes between the fuel tank & the fuel filter to connect the new fuel pump
- 2 hose fittings for the fuel line that goes from the hard line to the fuel rail to connect the Vortech
- 2 fittings for the oil return line between the turbo & the oil pan
- 2 flanges for the oil return line fittings
- 1 90degree fitting for the oil feed line on the turbo
- 1 adapter for that screws into the oil pressure sensor spot
- 1 fitting that screws into the adapter for the oil feed line

I'm sure I'm forgetting something, but that's all I can remember right now.

The little stuff isn't that hard but when you get more in depth with the kit you will know what you need without asking.

I'm sure they mean a fuel cut defender. As you learn what you need you will figure out that we need one.

Yea, because I'm selling my car. It has nothing to do w/ the kit or anything like that if that's what you're wondering.
