Well I ordered my HRC Stage 2 about 6 weeks ago through Howell and when it came in they decided that for some reason my 96 was OBD1 and not OBD2, so after fighting with Gary for a day about it they finally got through to Hahn and found out they goofed. So I sent back the fuel system they got me to be swapped for the right one. What did I get back in the mail??? The same damn thing!!!!!!!! So this time I called Hahn directly and spoke with Brad and got everything taken care of parts wise, took my lazy ass back to the Post Office and sent back the incorrect parts so they could ship out the proper ones. What do I get today?? A call from my buddy where everything is getting shipped to saying I had a C.O.D. package from Hahn. Seriously...after all that and they make me pay for shipping on something I already paid for...WTF!!!!!!!! Sorry just had to vent some frustrations....

That's some mess but could be worst. It took me two months to get mine. Local shit shop changed locations so from when they ordered supposely Jan 11 and when they moved to another location, I go it March 20th, 2 months, then another 3 months for them to START work on it in June, then 4 weeks for it to be done, all so that 3 months later and $700, I have a non machined flywheel and other bullshit...that is a nightmare.

I am in NC and it did take about 4 weeks to get the first botched order in. I did cover everything over the phone with Howell when I first placed the order, made sure they knew it was for a 96 and what not. The thing that boggles my mind is that how if they screwed up the first time and ordered the wrong fuel system, why would they turn around and order the exact same thing the next time. Not to mention the small fact that they screwed up and then wouldn't even offer to cover the shipping costs for the returns. Overall I'm not to happy with the customer service from them right now. This is the second time one of the guys in our club has gotten a run around from them. When Toney(1TuffRS) ordered his UDP they sent him the wrong one and then gave him a hassle about getting the right one to him too. This is seriously making me think twice about going to them when it comes to rebuild time. Would like to but I'm scared to see what will happen with that.............

So you ordered a stage 2 for a 96+ fuel system, got the wrong fuel system, got shipped the wrong fuel system again, and then they finally sent you the right one, but charged you for shipping? Sorry dood, that does suck... I'd call and have them credit me back for the shipping for their fuck up... If they wouldnt cover it, if you payed by credit card, jsut put a stop payment on it... that'll get their ass in gear...

Yeah I ordered through Howell and they ordered/sent the wrong fuel system the first time. They charged my card the day I placed the order so by the time I got it it was way to late to stop payment on anything. Then when I called and talked to Gary he fought with me for the whole day until he talked to Hahn about how a 96 has the early fuel system and is OBD1 etc etc..... When he finally got through to Hahn they set him straight and he told me to send in the one they sent for a swap. So after paying 10 bucks to ship the thing out, at the end of the week I get a box with what else, the same damn fuel system in it. So this time, being sick of the stupidness I decided to call Hahn directly and see if they could get me the right shit. Talked to them and they apologized for Howell being so stupid and promised to send the right shit out as soon as I shipped back the one I had, so another 10 bucks in shipping and what do they do? Turn around and send me the new one COD........I mean c'mon now......if the problem is with one of their vendors why in the hell do I keep getting screwed with the shipping charges for their f$^%# ups? I haven't been home yet to make sure I got the right parts or not, but when I get home on Thursday if I have the wrong shit for the third time I'm gonna be extremely pissed............especially after having to pay the shipping for a 3rd time for them to get it right...GRRRRRRRRR

Well you can't blame Hahn for Howell's screwups, but it does suck. You could try to get the shipping charges back from Howell since obviously they screwed up by ordering the wrong one, but I doubt you will have much success. They seem to be pretty stingy even when it comes to a few bucks. Just put your kit on, start boosting and you will forget all about your troubles.

Well I talked to my buddy today and had him open the box from Hahn and finally I have the right parts, so this Friday is a go and I will be boosting this weekend finally... :):) Only things I have left that can be put on later are my Missing Link which I ordered last week and the re-cal package for my SFMU....so all is well for now, hopefully the block holds out for a while until I do the rebuild(keeping fingers, toes and eyes crossed on that one) which will happen after the 1st of the year if everything holds out until then. I'm sure everyone will know my reactions when I post nothing but a after the install is done, I can't wait now, this week can't go by fast enough...
