well u dont really tune the turbo but you tune the fuel delivery. what you wil need when u get the kit is a boost guage, egt guage, a/f guage. tune up. and make sure b4 you put the kit on that your car is ready for it. when i instaled the kit i had 175-180 across the boards(ok) and i was at 162k miles but then again you could be at 80k with 140-150 compression. no good. u nvr no till u check. besides that thats prety much all youl NEED an exhaust system would be nice also. hope that helped
EDIT: o and to answer your how question, when you get the kit, ur tuning will depend on the kit you get. if you get the hrc then youl get the cartech(craptech) fuel pressure regulator (FPR) and you will just tighten or loosin a screw on top ond a brass one to the side. pretty simple. but if ya get the star i believe thast comes with a vortech fmu(fuel management unit)? im not sure how u go about tuning those but i no you need a certain disc. somebody else explain the star to him. thnx

Don't forget NGK BKR7E-11 plugs gapped at .035". They should cost $2 each or less. Advance Auto can get them easily. I have yet to find another store that can get them.

BAP-Geon sells them.
STAR, your fuel delivery is a pretty much set constant, you just adjust the amount of air the motor gets to compensate up to a comfortably rich state
