#31526, "HRC Stage 2 to Stage 3"

Has anyone done the upgrade of stage 2 to 3 directly from HRC or the way HRC claims with only the following parts? How much should I expect to pay? Is the block from Howell the better deal or build my own now? Let me know. Later.

According to HRC stage 3 is stage 2 with the following:

JE Forged Pistons, piston rings, and wrist pins
Crower billet connecting rods
Hahn 500 CC Fuel Injectors
Hahn PowerFuel module
Hahn Ignition Amplifier

bump! emoji

Not a newbiw question. I don't want to spend more than I have to anymore. Should I get the 2.2 block, or just the parts. I will be paying someone more than likely to do the work.

I already know I need s-AFC and bigger injectors? 500 or 625? Any other brand than the HRC/Accel?

I only want to pay once for them to do the work so I rather be safe than sorry down the road. My target would be to max the potential of the S16G without having to go to the 20G. Target 325-350hp.

unles u are stuck on the crower rods u can opt for cheaper eagles i havent heard of anyone breaking them yet and they are good units hell nascar uses em...

u could go with weiscos forged units they are about 100$ cheaper and still as good or better then a JE brand name...

remember u have to get machine work done.. its gonna be 5-600$ for the machine work and assemblly of the short block atleast if you paying somone for the whole thing expect about a 4500$ price or more unless its a friend that is doing the work...

You can have it cheap, fast or good. Pick any two.

If you want it cheap and fast, it's not going to be good.
If you want it cheap and good, it's not going to be fast.
If you want it good and fast, it's not going to be cheap.
