Hey everybody, this winter I'm throwing on my HRC stage one when my friends come back from college for Christmas break. Anyway I'm looking at getting an intercooler some time soon and I want the Star FMIC. I was wondering if it's possible to have a Hahn stage 1 and use Star's FMIC. If so, how would I go about doing it? Can I just order the stage 2 upgrade from Star or is there more to it?

Against my better judgement I am going to try to help here.
I do not know much about HRC turbo kits, but I know that on the star kits the compressor side of the turbo rotates so that the IC piping can line up with the turbo inlet. If the HRC turbo does the same, then yes it will work. Here is a pic of a HRC IC piping VS. Star IC piping...
You can see where I circled. The HRC inlet is above the manifold, and my star, it is below. So the IC piping for the HRC is going to be longer and bent differently to go the top, and the star is going to go to the bottom. But like I said, if the turbo hosing can rotate, then you can rotate the turbo around to line up with the IC piping.

Make your own piping and get whatever FMIC you want. The Star intercooler is a POS from what I've heard. Might want to stay away from that. I had a local machine shop just bend some pipes for my FMIC. Take some measurements and it shouldn't be too hard to make. Then order a few feet of silicone coupling from RRE. $25 per foot.
